As you may or may not know The Honourable Legend Captain Cag aka JOHN EDWARDS was proposed and voted in as honorary President of WBMC at the AGM on Thursday 20th March 2025. A big congratulations to John for all his Dedication, Service and enormous effort he has put into the Club over the many years he has been a member.
More and more of the clubs activities mean that club members are paying directly into our bank account. This has the potential for payments not to be recognised causing organisers and the Treasurer having a harder job trying to decipher who has paid and what for. To make the payments easier to allocate to the correct activity can we ask that all members use the code system below please.

The West Bromwich Mountaineering Club is a club run by and for climbers and hill walkers based in the West Midlands and surrounding areas.
We have a diverse membership of around 200 people ranging from children to retirees who take part in a wide variety of outdoor activities, including mountaineering, rock climbing, hill walking, skiing, mountain biking, kayaking, and camping.
We welcome complete beginners and experienced mountaineers alike!
The West Bromwich Mountaineering Club Hut is a well maintained hut which can accommodate 16 people in communal beds. People with a passion for mountaineering can use the hut. It is surrounded by the most breath taking walks and Mountains in Snowdonia.
At West Bromwich Mountaineering Club, our Hut is situated 3m from the town of Beddgelert at the bottom of the Watkin Path which leads directly to the summit of Snowdon. We believe that hiking is not only a great way to stay fit and healthy, but also a way to connect with nature and disconnect from the stresses of daily life.
